decorating white spaces
I've always loved white spaces. Gives me the feeling of freshness, cleanliness and openness.
low energy light bulb
Tamang tama para sa horrendously expensive Meralco bill!
Plumen 001 -- a light bulb from an english company Hulger -- is said to be the world's first low-energy light bulb with a trendy design. It uses 80% less energy than a common household bulb and can last up to eight years. Its design is various and quite interesting.
Pretty cool.

tagaytay getaway
We had a nice trip to Tagaytay last Friday :) We went to Paradizoo and had lunch at Antonio's.
Paradizoo is a 10-hectare theme farm and zoo in Mendez Cavite, just a few minutes drive outside Tagaytay proper. We rode a "kalesa" to see the whole farm/zoo.
There was a bee farm and a butterfly sanctuary. There were camels, sheeps, the 5-legged cow and ostrich.
They have their own organic vegetable garden and a sunken flower garden.
The kids had a nice time riding the pony.
Then we're off to Antonio's for lunch.
The entrance.
The food was superb. The grilled beef fillet with wild mushroom and mashed potato, divine. The salad and the soup, yummy. The iced-tea and dalandan drinks were refreshing.
We ate at the air-conditioned area.
There's an al fresco area for those who want to enjoy the outdoor breeze and scenery.
The open-window washroom.
We will definitely come back.

law breakers
I was on my way to the office, early in the morning, when i saw this two policemen riding a motorcycle without their helmets on.
Last I heard it is a law to wear helmets for all motorcycle drivers and their passengers at all times. Gloria Arroyo signed the Mandatory Helmet Act of 2010 that imposes stiff penalties on violators (at least we can count this 1 good thing she did during her administration).
Republic Act 10054, authored by Sen. Ramon Revilla Jr., is aimed at protecting motorcycle drivers, their passengers, as well as pedestrians from injuries and death in accidents.
Under the law, those who will be caught not wearing protective helmets face a minimum fine of P1,500 and a maximum penalty of P10,000.
But how is this? These policemen are supposed to look for violators of this law and yet they are the first to violate. Simple laws, easy-to-understand rules. And yet, those who are supposed to uphold and implement are the first ones to violate. Sad. They certainly are not setting a good example.
