I've read somewhere that mint leaves can cure simple aches and pains like:
bad headache -- get instant relief by crushing a few leaves and inhaling it
nursing a cold -- prepare a steaming cup of peppermint tea by steeping about 1 to 2 tsps of dried peppermint leaves in a cup of freshly boiled water for 10 minutes
for fresh breath -- chew fresh mint leaves
Of course, mint is a wonderful addition to your water or iced tea for that cool and refreshing flavor.
